A plan needs somewhere to become working software.
I built Project Plannr to keep decisions, priorities, and implementation work together. People manage projects and review outcomes; agents get bounded access to the projects they work on, with the same ticket history and clear ownership of active work.
Repository ledgers and chat context can describe a project well, but they are harder to keep current across several agents and work sessions. A shared board needs more than task labels: it needs scoped access, claims, checklists, and protection against conflicting edits.
What I built.
- Project swimlanes, Kanban, and a ranked queue, with priorities, search, and ticket checklists.
- Revocable project-scoped agent credentials and expiring work claims, with actor identity recorded in the activity history.
- Revision checks and transactional writes that reject stale edits instead of silently replacing newer work.
- Reviewed manifest imports with source verification, project-only backups, idempotency, and read-back checks.
Make local use straightforward without weakening hosted access.
A local installation starts with an empty workspace and persistent file storage. Passwordless access is an explicit loopback-only choice; browser writes still require the configured origin and a CSRF token. Hosted installs retain password authentication, and agent access remains separately scoped in either mode.
Where it landed.
A self-hosted planning app for one owner and their agents, with configurable workspace labels, appearance, density, and a preferred board view. The public release runs locally without a managed database or maintainer-hosted account.
