My responsibility

What I owned and contributed.

  • Translated a detailed Figma system across homepage, collection, product, cart, account, editorial, and utility-page surfaces while preserving responsive behavior and visual fidelity.
  • Built modular, authorable experiences for the Fabric Library, About page, Journal, campaign content, collection storytelling, and reusable media layouts.
  • Implemented product discovery and buying behavior across navigation, collection cards, color swatches, breadcrumbs, size guides, product galleries, recommendations, and matching-product contexts.
  • Hardened bundles, cart recommendations, final-sale state, discount synchronization, variant behavior, and overlapping cart updates so customer-visible state remained accurate.
  • Owned launch readiness across content migration, CMS authoring, accessibility, consent styling, SEO and structured data, dependency maintenance, regression coverage, and production QA.

A hard problem

Preserving editorial fidelity without hard-coding the storefront

MATE's visual identity depends on carefully composed editorial pages, campaign imagery, fabric education, and product context, but those experiences still need to be reusable and maintainable by merchants. I translated highly specific designs into modular Shopify sections and explicit authoring contracts, then protected the same system across responsive layouts, incomplete content, product state, and launch changes.

Delivery outcome

What changed, shipped, or mattered.

MATE the Label's new Shopify storefront is live, connecting editorial storytelling with fabric-, color-, collection-, and product-led discovery. The public launch is a team outcome. My documented contribution spans technical leadership, direct storefront implementation, authoring architecture, commerce interactions, regression coverage, and launch delivery.
