What I owned and contributed.
- Built the desktop header, accessible navigation drawer, responsive menus, promo bar, and country-selection surfaces that formed the storefront's global shell.
- Implemented collection foundations, Shades View, Quick View, product cards, PDP galleries and zoom, configurable product sets, variant state, and add-to-bag interactions.
- Built account dashboards and address management, plus keyboard and ARIA behavior across navigation, swatches, modals, and Notify Me flows.
- Reworked market confirmation, country selection, welcome-mat behavior, localized URLs, cookies, currency formatting, and Global-e routing across US, UK, and additional markets.
- Improved image delivery and page behavior, then supported releases, hotfixes, and international rollout work through production.
A hard problem
Making international commerce feel like one coherent storefront
Market routing, locale-aware URLs, currency, cookies, country selection, product state, and modal behavior all interacted with the same navigation and buying journeys. I treated localization and accessibility as application state, not finishing work, and rebuilt the redirect and welcome-mat logic when edge cases produced duplicate prompts and incorrect market defaults.
Recognition and attribution
What changed, shipped, or mattered.
Shopify named the Glossier build the 2024 Best Custom Liquid Storefront. That recognition belongs to the full project team. My individual contribution is the substantial implementation record across the global shell, product discovery, PDP and set-building experiences, accounts, accessibility, international routing, and release support.
