My responsibility

What I owned and contributed.

  • Personally implemented storefront improvements and defect work across search, product listing, merchandising, pricing, filtering, and interaction behavior.
  • Migrated production metaobject and metafield definitions while preserving field types, references, validation rules, and API access.
  • Owned performance and accessibility remediation across major storefront routes while separating reproducible issues from noisy local audit data.
  • Made late-stage risk tradeoffs by prioritizing narrowly scoped optimizations over broader changes with a larger regression surface.
  • Coordinated dependencies across storefront code, apps, product data, content, and external systems.

A hard problem

Balancing performance improvements with regression risk

Late-stage optimization work is not about maximizing the number of changes. It is about finding improvements that materially reduce cost without expanding the regression surface. I narrowed the work to changes that could be verified across responsive and bilingual storefront states, while deferring broader restructuring that was better handled outside a sensitive release window.

What this project demonstrates

What changed, shipped, or mattered.

The strongest current outcome is risk reduction and production readiness rather than a published conversion metric. The work demonstrates current hands-on coding, migration discipline, bilingual QA, performance judgment, and ownership across a wide delivery surface.
