What I owned and contributed.
- Implemented storefront and checkout fixes for contributor search, hidden-price tax fallbacks, checkout Content Security Policy access, cache bypasses, and content commentary support.
- Helped lead architecture and implementation planning across Hydrogen, Sanity, search, checkout, fulfillment, loyalty, customer accounts, and supporting services.
- Reviewed backend and caching behavior, converted cross-system gaps into implementable work, and kept ownership explicit across teams and repositories.
- Established code-freeze, review, environment, and release controls during sensitive delivery windows where a small change could affect national traffic.
- Handled client-facing transition and CI/CD issues while protecting the difference between code readiness, deployment readiness, and program readiness.
A hard problem
Changing one surface inside a national-scale dependency graph
A seemingly local storefront change could depend on search, structured content, customer identity, tax, fulfillment, checkout, or a backend service owned elsewhere. My work combined direct fixes with boundary mapping, technical review, and release controls so implementation could move without presenting a dependent system as solved when it was not.
Scale and attribution
What changed, shipped, or mattered.
The program launched on Shopify Enterprise with a headless Hydrogen and Oxygen storefront serving 14M+ SKUs and 750+ stores. Those figures describe the combined program. My documented contribution spans direct storefront and checkout implementation, technical leadership, systems planning, and release governance.
