My responsibility
What I owned and contributed.
- Implemented resilient Constructor identity handling with validated anonymous IDs and storage fallbacks for browsers that block cookies or session storage.
- Built and corrected search and PLP behavior across inventory facets, hidden categories, product-card variants, image geometry, search prominence, and recently viewed products.
- Improved store discovery by constraining autocomplete results, correcting store-locator behavior, and resolving launch-period store and event defects.
- Shipped PDP and platform fixes for encoded titles, preorder logic, oversized-item shipping messages, layout stability, reviews, crawler rules, and indexing behavior.
- Led decomposition and launch review across search, catalog, fulfillment, loyalty, localization, and frontend-backend contracts, including platform escalations where needed.
A hard problem
Keeping discovery state reliable at enterprise catalog scale
Search and browse behavior depended on Constructor identity, browser storage, inventory data, variant modeling, localization, and a catalog far beyond normal storefront scale. I hardened the customer-facing layer against blocked storage, malformed state, mismatched filters, and inconsistent product data while coordinating contract fixes when the problem crossed into backend systems.

What changed, shipped, or mattered.
Indigo launched on Shopify Enterprise in May 2026 with 12M+ products, 8M metaobjects, 135+ stores, and bilingual web, app, and retail experiences. Those are program outcomes. My contribution combined direct discovery and storefront engineering with technical planning, contract resolution, escalation, and launch review.
