My responsibility

What I owned and contributed.

  • Helped establish project boundaries, onboard engineers, and guide data-model and storefront decisions.
  • Scoped Hydrogen reuse and authenticated API boundaries for artist-facing tooling.
  • Delayed handoff where required platform dependencies still broke core behavior, while separating work that was genuinely ready to proceed.
  • Personally shipped launch-period stabilization fixes across SEO, navigation, product cards, authorable content, and environment configuration.
  • Restored a deployment pipeline that had blocked QA by tracing the failure to a buried lint error.

A hard problem

Protecting the handoff instead of shipping around broken dependencies

Several deliverables appeared close to completion, but underlying platform dependencies still invalidated important flows. I separated the pieces that were genuinely ready from those that still depended on incomplete behavior, allowing the team to move forward without disguising dependency risk as completion.

Project outcome

What changed, shipped, or mattered.

Shopify reports a 60% average increase in add-to-cart rate and a 45% increase in mobile conversion after the replatform. The architecture supports more than 300M dynamically generated SKUs. These are project-level outcomes across the combined client and implementation teams, paired here with my documented technical and delivery role.
