One of my longest-running engineering engagements, spanning my progression from early-career frontend development into complex commerce systems and headless storefront engineering.

What I owned and contributed.
- Built and evolved complex bundle and build-your-own-set behavior, cart and checkout flows, product configuration, search fallbacks, and merchandising systems.
- Implemented performance work that deferred noncritical assets and reduced render-blocking behavior.
- Worked across Global-e international pricing, geolocation and delivery logic, accessibility, SEO, recommendations, and production fixes.
- Built stateful multi-step bundling and product-selection experiences.
- Later contributed directly to the Hydrogen, React, TypeScript, and Sanity rebuild.
A hard problem
A project that grew with my engineering career
SKIMS started as early production frontend work and became progressively more complex as both the platform and my role evolved. Over several years I moved from components and fixes into performance, internationalization, stateful bundling, delivery logic, fallback systems, and eventually headless React and Hydrogen work.
Career significance
What changed, shipped, or mattered.
SKIMS is less about one metric than sustained direct engineering depth. The project remains the clearest long-running record of my progression from junior engineer into senior technical responsibility.
