Project leadership and hands-on engineering on a 10-month omnichannel Shopify replatform spanning ecommerce, physical retail, persistent cart, fulfillment, checkout, analytics, and production integrations.

What I owned and contributed.
- Served as a project lead and primary frontend technical resource while continuing to implement production code.
- Personally implemented guest-to-customer persistent cart merging, Persistent Cart API changes, store-selection and checkout behavior, analytics work, order-history behavior, delivery-date consistency, and product fixes.
- Reviewed and approved work across major storefront surfaces approaching launch.
- Kept client-facing QA environments current and coordinated frontend and backend integration lanes.
- Reproduced a broad checkout outage and escalated directly to Shopify Support during launch hardening.
A hard problem
Keeping ecommerce and retail state coherent
Framebridge had to connect an ecommerce storefront, retail studios, existing framing workflows, persistent cart state, and checkout without interrupting the business. My work crossed both direct implementation and project-level coordination, especially where frontend state depended on APIs, store context, or customer identity.
Project outcome
What changed, shipped, or mattered.
Shopify reports a 15.3% increase in overall add-to-cart rate, an 8.1% increase in checkout starts, and a 7.5% increase in overall conversion after the replatform. The program covered 30+ stores and 250+ retail staff, completed in 10 months on schedule and budget, and launched without business interruption. These are project-level results, not individual causal claims.
